Electric cars as electricity storage

Ein Positionspapier thematisiert die Frage, wie E-Autos als mobile Stromspeicher genutzt werden können. Grid monitoring through Big Data and AI – Research project takes the next step

Aufbauend auf dem geförderten Forschungsvorhaben FiN werden nun in FiN 2.0 großflächige Lösungen zur Netzzustandsüberwachung mittels Big Data und künstlicher Intelligenz erprobt. Der Projekt Kick-Off fand am 25.06.2019 bei PPC in Mannheim statt. [:en]“Sensors in the Grid” (Fühler im Netz or FiN) a government funded research project has entered its second phase. Based on the finding of the first “Fühler im Netz”, FiN 2.0 will verify large-scale solutions to monitoring grid conditions by means of Big Data and artificial intelligence. E.ON has ordered 16,000 smart meter gateways from PPC

[:de]Der Rollout intelligenter Messsysteme (iMSys) steht unmittelbar bevor: E.ON hat bei PPC 16.000 zertifizierte Smart Meter Gateways (SMGWs) mit integrierter LTE-WAN-Kommunikation bestellt.[:en]E.ON has ordered 16,000 smart meter gateways from the manufacturer PPC, thus paving the way for the installation of smart metering systems as required by law, which will start this year.[:]
