The energy management systems from Solar Manager and TQ-Systems have been successfully validated for interoperability with the SMGWplus from PPC. Both partners support the new and secure EEBUS SHIP Pairing and have demonstrated successful interoperability through extensive testing.

The interoperability tests focused in particular on secure EEBUS SHIP pairing and the reliable transmission of control signals between the systems. The interoperability tests were carried out in the laboratory jointly by PPC and its partners.

Whilst Solar Manager impresses as a ready-to-use, manufacturer-agnostic energy management solution with broad device integration, TQ-Systems stands for bespoke white-label HEMS solutions for rapid integration with OEM customers. Through the early integration of the new EEBUS SHIP Pairing, both partners are making an important contribution to interoperable and future-proof control solutions in the energy market.

Solar Manager and TQ-Systems are the first devices on the SMGWplus interoperability list and are therefore ready for field deployment with SMGWplus.

In recognition of this successful implementation, Solar Manager and TQ-Systems were presented with the PPC connect Award at the PPC Kundentreffen 2026.

The successful tests demonstrate how important standardised interfaces, early integration and close partnerships are for secure, interoperable and future-proof control solutions in the digital energy world.
