The eMobility business unit at MENNEKES Elektrotechnik GmbH & Co. KG has successfully completed interoperability testing for EEBUS Limitation of Power Consumption (LPC) with our CLS adapter control. MENNEKES and PPC celebrated this project success at this year’s Light + Building with the presentation of the PPC connect certificate and trophy.
This proof of interoperability lays the foundation for a future-proof connection and also meets the requirements of the Technical Connection Rules for Low Voltage (VDE-AR-N 4100).
We jointly tested:
- the wall boxes: AMTRON® Charge Control, AMTRON® Professional, AMTRON® Professional Twincharge, AMTRON® 4You 500 and AMTRON® 4Business 700
- the charging stations: AMEDIO® and Smart T PnC (NFC)
We worked closely with MENNEKES on the implementation. While MENNEKES contributed its expertise in the field of charging infrastructure and eMobility, the PPC CLS team was responsible for the control technology integration and validation.
The PPC test kit played a decisive role in this, as it enabled the relevant tests to be carried out efficiently and practically under realistic conditions.
The next step is to implement automated commissioning in order to make integration in practice even more efficient, faster and more user-friendly.
