Thanks to their modular design, our SMGWs enable the flexible integration of all relevant communication variants for bidirectional data exchange in the WAN.

This ensures secure digital communication between the property and backend systems.
Thanks to a consistent security-by-design concept and an integrated security module, the system guarantees highly secure data encryption and comprehensive data protection. Installation and commissioning are particularly easy thanks to the compact design, practical plug connections and plug-and-play functionality.
Our SMGWs are interoperable with all GWA systems and more than 20 meter manufacturers.
In addition, they can be seamlessly integrated into our network management system, ensuring efficient operational management and device monitoring.
The smart meter gateways currently support numerous tariff application cases (TAF 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 14) as well as communication scenarios HKS 1–5. Thanks to their updateability, our SMGWs will remain flexibly expandable in the future for new application profiles and functions, such as SMGWplus.

Consulting and training services
PPC offers comprehensive consulting and training services for smart metering systems and supply chains.
