Das Smart Meter Gateway überträgt autorisierte Steuer- und Schaltbefehle, die über eine Steuerbox an entsprechende Anlagen weitergeleitet werden. Ziel ist ein effizientes Last- und Einspeisemanagement im Verteilnetz.
Das PPC SMGW ist dabei mit allen (FNN)-Steuerboxen kompatibel. So gelingt die herstellerunabhängige Steuerung von PV-Anlagen zur optimalen Nutzung des produzierten Solarstroms oder die effiziente Steuerung von Nachtspeicherheizungen, Batteriespeichern, Wärmepumpen oder virtuellen Kraftwerken.
