PPC was founded in 2001 as a spin off of MVV Energie AG, Mannheim. Today PPC operates as an independent business.
As a pioneer of BPL, PPC's team has outstanding experience and expertise. PPC has already connected more than 300,000 households with projects in Mannheim, Dresden and Linz, as well as undertaking numerous projects with major European power suppliers.
Thanks to its innovative Smart Grid technology, PPC was chosen to take part in the BMWi flagship project E-Energy Modellstadt Mannheim.
PPC featured in the Guardian and Cleantech Group's Global Cleantech 100 list as one of the 100 most economically promising environmental technology companies worldwide and as the only German company in the field of 'energy efficiency'. Investment security for the optimization of your electricity grids
With an investment of 10 million Euros Climate Change Capital Private Equity has been involved in PPC since November 2008. Climate Change Capital Private Equity is a trust fund of the British Climate Change Capital Group, which invests fund volumes of over US$ 1.6 billion into pollution-free technologies geared towards reducing CO2 emissions.
