PPC schließt als erster Anbieter erfolgreich die EEBUS-Zertifizierung ab
Die PPC ist der erste Anbieter, der die neue EEBUS-Zertifizierung erfolgreich abgeschlossen hat. Damit wurde nachgewiesen, dass die PPC-Lösung im zertifizierten Funktionsumfang die Anforderungen der EEBUS-Spezifikationen erfüllt und mit anderen EEBUS-zertifizierten Geräten interoperabel zusammenarbeitet. Die neue EEBUS Zertifizierung geht deutlich über die bisherigen EEBUS Pilot Qualifizierungen hinaus.
6 Millionen Nessum-IPs ausgeliefert – Technologie gewinnt international an Bedeutung
Mit Daikin Industries Ltd. im Heizung, Lüftung und Klimatechnik (HLK) Sektor und der Power Plus Communications AG (PPC) im Bereich Smart Metering zeigen gleich zwei Nessum-Allianzmitglieder, wie sich die auf IEEE 1901 basierende Technologie in bereits vorhandene Infrastrukturen integrieren lässt.
5G RedCap für Smart Meter Rollout: E.ON Grid Solutions, Westnetz,Telefónica Deutschland und PPC testen neue Mobilfunktechnologie
Telefónica Deutschland, E.ON Grid Solutions, Westnetz und Power Plus Communications AG (PPC) haben 5G RedCap als neue Mobilfunktechnologie für Smart Meter Gateways erfolgreich getestet. Dafür wurde ein 5G-RedCap-fähiges Smart Meter Gateway von PPC über das 700-MHz-Netz von Telefónica Deutschland mit den Backend-Systemen des Messstellenbetreibers verbunden. Die Partner konnten damit die gesamte Kommunikationskette unter realitätsnahen Bedingungen abbilden – vom Smart Meter Gateway über das Mobilfunknetz bis in die Systeme des Messstellenbetreibers.
Projektstart IKTres: Resiliente Kommunikation für intelligente Verteilnetze
Mit dem im Mai gestarteten Innovationsprojekt IKTres entwickelt PPC gemeinsam mit Partnern aus Forschung und Energiewirtschaft präventive und kurative Maßnahmen, um die Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologie (IKT) in intelligenten Verteilnetzen resilienter gegenüber Störungen und Ausfällen zu machen. Im Fokus steht die Infrastruktur intelligenter Messsysteme (iMSys), das Netzwerkmanagementsystem (NMS) und der digitale Netz-Zwilling.
