Interoperability in Action

Interoperability is one of Power Plus Communications AG’s core competencies. For all components in the intelligent metering system (iMSys) to work together effectively, cooperation is needed rather than a silo mentality.

This conviction formed the basis for the development of our Smart Meter Gateway and CLS adapters. At the same time, this has led to the emergence of a steadily growing partner network over the years.

PPC connect unites all partners under one motto: Interoperability in Action. By this, we mean not only the purely technical implementation, but also a vision in which the smart metering system is always advanced in a customer-focused, sustainable, digital, and secure manner.

Specifically, partners become part of our initiative once we have successfully tested the interoperability of our products together. We typically start with a lab test and then transfer it to the field at our customers’ sites. At the same time, we continue to conduct ongoing tests in our laboratory. This ensures the end-to-end functionality of the system components even after updates. In this way, the requirements of tomorrow’s iMSys are already reflected in today’s innovations.
