Auf dem Weg zur RLM-Integration: PPC bringt Industriemessungen ins Smart Meter Gateway
Der Smart Meter Rollout schreitet voran – doch die Messung von Industrie- und Gewerbekunden läuft trotz entsprechender regulatorischer Anforderungen bislang häufig in einer eigenen, parallelen Infrastruktur noch am intelligenten Messsystem vorbei. Die kommenden iRLMsys-Lösungen sollen genau diese Lücke schließen.
Die Grundlage für SMGW-Wiederverwendbarkeit: PPC setzt „DoDeleteUserData“-Funktion um
Auf einem Smart Meter Gateway werden nach Verbau und Inbetriebnahme personenbezogene Daten erfasst. Zum Schutz personenbezogener Daten war eine Wiederverwendung daher bislang nicht möglich. Die von PPC nun umgesetzte „DoDeleteUserData“-Funktion schafft die Grundlage für eine Wiederverwendung und ermöglicht den erneuten Verbau eines bereits in Betrieb genommenen SMGWs an einem anderen Installationsort.

Mit dem SMGWplus will Energy Metering die Digitalisierung und Skalierung seines Rollouts weiter vorantreiben. Gleichzeitig schafft die Lösung die Grundlage für neue und bestehende B2B-Partnerschaften. Das Unternehmen hat sich das Ziel gesetzt, in den kommenden Jahren mehr als 1 Million Messstellen zu digitalisieren. Das SMGWplus erweitert die Funktion des Smart Meter Gateways über die reine Messwertübertragung hinaus.
