PPC has already received several prizes over the years. In 2010 alone, we won a number of awards in the fields of smart metering and smart grids as well as for innovation and growth.

GP Bullhound Announces The Cleantech Connect Top 20 in 2011
For the third consecutive year, Power Plus Communications has been named in GP Bullhound’s Cleantech Connect list and is one of the 20 fastest growing Cleantech companies in Europe. This list is created based on financial performance between 2008 and 2010. Companies which feature in this list come from the various Cleantech sectors throughout Europe indicating significant growth in this market.
PPC takes its place in the “Land of Ideas 2011”
Power Plus Communications is being highlighted as one of the “365 places in the Land of Ideas”, in the “Germany – Land of Ideas” regional initiative, in cooperation with Deutsche Bank. The competition's patron is Federal President Christian Wulff.
PPC wins 'Potenzial Innovation' Award
26.08.2010: We are delighted that, as the winner of the 'Potenzial Innovation' award, we belong to Germany's ten most exciting innovations. The German Chamber of Commerce and business magazine impulse received over 80 applications to their advertisement, all from different business branches throughout the whole of Germany. PPC managed to win over the chosen panel of judges with their Broadband-Powerline-System. The BPL-System enables the reading and real-time display of energy consumption via the Internet by transmitting the data over the power-grid.
PPC wins Cleantech Connect Award 2010
PPC has been named by Cleantech Connect (CTC) as one of the fastest growing cleantech companies in Europe in 2010. The Cleantech Connect awards are organised by investment bank GP Bullhound
with premium sponsor, Schroders Private Banking. PPC made the top 50 for the second consecutive year and this year was placed in the top 20 due to its 52 per cent growth. The awards list, which was judged by a panel of leading industry experts, comprises some of the most prestigious names in the industry.
PPC wins CyberOne Award 2010
09.06.2010: PPC has won the High-Tech Award “CyberOne 2010” from economic initiative Baden-Württemberg Connected e.V. (bwcon). With our novel Broadband-Powerline-Technology for the transfer of data over existing powerlines, we have firmly established ourselves within the growth/mid-sized company category against 61 competitors from the Software, Medical Technology, Bio-Technology, Construction Chemistry and Environmental Technology branches. Our BPL-System offers utilities the optimal solution for meter reading which is required throughout Europe and represents the key technology for intelligent energy grids – the so-called smartgrids.
