Supervisory Board
Dr. Manfred Krüper holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at PPC as well as at several other companies, including SAG and Capital Stage AG. He is also Member of the Supervisory Board at numerous other companies. Dr. Krüper has extensive experience in top-level management roles within the Energy industry, most recently as Member of the Executive Board for 10 years at E.ON AG, in Düsseldorf. Here he was responsible for Human Resources, infrastructure, organization and procurement for E.ON North America Inc. Until the merger of VEBA and VIAG AG to E.ON in 2000, Dr. Krüper occupied various leading positions within the corporation. Manfred Krüper studied Economics and Social Sciences at the Universities of Münster and Cologne. After graduating, he worked there as a research assistant. He received his PhD in 1971.
Bruno Derungs is a Partner in the Climate Change Capital Private Equity Fund (CPE). Before working at CPE Bruno was a Principal at SAM Private Equity, where he made a number of successful investments in the Clean Energy space. Prior to that he was Managing Director of Advanced Technology Ventures, a Zurich based VC.
As a consultant at Bain & Company he primarily worked for their Private Equity and M&A practice group. Bruno has also managed one of Philips-Datacommunication's National Sales Organisations. Bruno has an MSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.
Univ. Professor Dr. Torsten J. Gerpott is a professor of corporate and technology planning with a focus on the telecommunications sector at the Mercator School of Management, University Duisburg-Essen. Before taking over this position he gained international management exposure especially in telecommunications and high tech industries at a U.S.-based management consultancy. Since 1982 Prof. Gerpott has published more than 320 professional articles and eight books. He frequently serves a reviewer for numerous scientific journals and funding institutions (e.g., Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft). In July 1996 Prof. Gerpott was one of the founders of DIALOG CONSULT GmbH – a firm which has established itself as a management consulting company with a distinct focus on leading telecommunication providers and users. He is an internationally renowned speaker at conferences on business trends in telecommunications and information technology markets.
