A report by Smart Grid GB in collaboration with the Global Smart Grid Federation points out the benefits of fast-forwarding Smart Grid implementation.
The proposes figures and scenarios showing that timely action will act as a boost to industry and the economy, promoting growth, jobs and exports.
This will keep Britain at the forefront of global Smart Grid development, and the report offers constructive suggestions how it can be achieved.
23 leading companies collaborated in the study, with widely varying expertise and sometimes competitve interests, yet they are united in the belief that accelerating the development of Gmart Grids will be of long term benefit to Britain.
